Great haircuts start with great people.
Every barber at RTBS brings something a little different to the chair, but we all share the same goal: taking our time, listening, and making sure every client leaves feeling like their best self.
Isaac Alamo
Owner • Master Barber
For more than 36 years, Isaac has been doing what he loves most—helping people look and feel their best. What started with cutting his own hair turned into a lifelong career built on craftsmanship, consistency, and genuine relationships.
In 2017, Isaac took over River Three Barber Shop, continuing the legacy of a Milford landmark that's been serving the community since 1913. His vision has always been simple: create a shop where everyone feels welcome, conversations come naturally, and every client leaves looking forward to their next visit.
Outside the shop, Isaac also works with the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services. That experience has shaped the patience, understanding, and compassion he's known for—especially with children and clients who may need a little extra time or a different approach. Whether it's a first haircut, a weekly cleanup, or a completely new style, every person who sits in his chair receives the same level of care and attention.
Jacqueline Alamo
Co-Owner
While Jacqueline isn’t behind the chair, she’s behind everything that keeps RTBS running each day. From managing the behind-the-scenes details, to connecting with clients, sharing the shop’s story, and supporting the team. She’s passionate about creating a space where everyone feels welcome.
For Jacqueline, RTBS has always been about more than the haircuts. It's about creating a place where people feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door. A place where conversations come naturally, friendships are built, and everyone feels like they belong. Being part of a shop that feels like family, both for the team and the community, is what means the most to her.
Richard Gomez
Barber
Richard has spent nearly three decades behind the chair, bringing experience, consistency, and attention to detail to every haircut. What began as cutting classmates' hair eventually became a career built on taking pride in his work and making sure every client leaves happy.
He believes a great haircut isn't just about how it looks when you leave the shop—it's about listening, understanding what each client wants, and making sure it still looks great weeks later. Whether you're after a clean classic cut or something more modern, Richard takes his time to get it right.
Clients appreciate Richard's easygoing personality, steady hand, and the care he puts into every appointment. His goal is simple: make every visit comfortable, enjoyable, and leave you looking your best.
James Dean
Barber (Barber Bull)
James discovered barbering at just 14 years old and knew almost immediately that it was something he wanted to pursue. Although life took him in a few different directions along the way, that passion for the craft never faded, eventually bringing him back to the profession he always loved.
For James, barbering is more than a career - it’s a craft he’s dedicated himself to for years. For him, it's where creativity, craftsmanship, and connection come together. He believes every haircut should reflect quality, precision, and purpose, combining timeless barbering with an eye for the details that make every cut stand out. His goal is for every client to leave the chair feeling refreshed, confident, and proud of the haircut they wear.
Ready for your next haircut?
Whether you're visiting us for the first time or you've been coming for years, we'd love to see you in the chair.
We’re a small team, but always open to the right person.
